Cathodic Protection CCMI is capable of performing and coordinating cathodic protection testing and repair of sacrificial and impressed current systems.
Helium Pinpoint Testing Helium pinpoint tests are economical and efficient in helping to pinpoint problems in tanks and underground piping identified by precision tests without the need for extensive excavation. It also offers the advantage of being a non-invasive method to identify potential problems since the UST and piping are left undisturbed. Sample holes are drilled in the pervious material ("tank pad") covering the tanks and/or piping, helium is introduced into the structure being tested, and samples are obtained to detect concentrations of helium outside the structure being tested.
Electrical Continuity Testing of Fuel-Dispensing Hanging Hardware Hundreds of fires caused by static electricity generated during automotive refueling has been documented by the Petroleum Equipment Institute. Dispenser hanging hardware (hoses, nozzles, etc.) are designed to be grounded through the dispenser. Improperly installed or compromised dispensing equipment may not have this critical electrical path. CCMI performs Electrical Continuity Testing of Fuel-Dispensing Hanging Hardware in accordance with PEI's Recommended Procedure (RP400-02).
